What Is Cover Block?

Cover blocks are small precast concrete blocks. These blocks are used in construction to maintain a specific distance between the reinforcing bars and the formwork. They are placed on top of the reinforcement bars before pouring the concrete, providing a protective layer. This layer prevents the steel from coming into contact with the surrounding environment.
